September 8, 2022 – At least 1 person was killed in an early morning fatal crash in Dallas, Texas. Officers report that the wreck occurred just before 2 AM, which caused at least one of the involved vehicles to flip over and trap the occupants inside. Involved wreckage was left littered across the southbound side of I-35 E near Walnut Hill. Responding Firefighters needed to use specialized power tools to free victims from the wreckage. Authorities confirm that at least one person has unfortunately died as a result of the accident. There is currently no other information available, and the investigation is ongoing.
At this time, police can’t say what caused this accident until they uncover more facts to piece together what happened. While it is tempting to attribute the crash to common factors such as texting, intoxication and speeding, we must realize that there are other possible causes. For all we know, the accident may have been the result of a mechanical issue, the roads could have been hazardous or there could have been a problem with visibility. There are so many variables that could be a factor that police must investigate thoroughly and carefully examining even the smallest details that may not seem to matter on the surface.
Unfortunately, police are often understaffed and don’t have time to dig too deeply into the causes before writing their conclusions in a report. In an accident like this, it may be necessary to get the help of an independent investigator so that those involved can get answers to help them move on and get the help they need.
